Georg Blaser

Georg Blaser was a graduate student between October 2004 and December 2007 carrying out simulations in the Wilson group, combined with organic synthesis and physical measurements in the group of Dr. John Sanderson.

Georg’s simulation worked involved looking at the binding of substituted trytophans in water and in chloroform, using simulation results to help understand NMR titrations and ITC experiments.

Georg’s work was sponsored by the UK research council EPSRC through a DTA award.

After a successful Ph.D. Georg went on to continue his research career, working as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Cambridge.
