Andrew Ilott

Andrew Ilott was a Ph.D. student in the group (start date Oct. 2007).

Andy’s work involved the marriage of molecular dynamics techniques and solid state NMR. He worked on methods to allow researchers to be able to “see” and understand phenomena that occur on timescales, which are usually too long for conventional molecular simulation.Andy’s experimental work was carried out as part of the Durham solid state NMR group under the supervision of Dr Paul Hodgkinson Dr Paul Hodgkinson .

Andy’s work was sponsored by the UK research council EPSRC through a DTA award.
